On the International Day of the Girl Child, October 11, 2024, the conference opened its doors to students, teachers and guardians, from over 40 schools across the country, all united by a shared goal: to equip the next generation of female leaders. From engaging keynote sessions to interactive panels, the 2024 National Head Girl Conference provided a platform for young women to showcase their leadership skills, share their visions for the future, and engage with accomplished leaders across different sectors.
The highlight of the event was the National Head Girl Competition Finals, where our five finalists delivered powerful presentations on key societal issues, showcasing their leadership potential and innovative ideas. In a tight and spirited competition, Hadiyyah Onono Mohammed emerged as the overall winner, inspiring everyone with her story, determination, and vision for change.
