The Communications Officer will be responsible for planning and executing strategic communication initiatives that amplify WILAN's mission, programmes, and impact. The role will support the organization's visibility by developing compelling content, managing digital communication channels, documenting programme outcomes, and strengthening engagement with beneficiaries, partners, donors, and the public.
Working closely with programme teams and external stakeholders, the Communications Officer will ensure that WILAN's stories, campaigns, and advocacy efforts effectively promote women's leadership and organizational impact. The role requires a creative storyteller with strong writing, digital communications, media relations, and project management skills, preferably with experience in the nonprofit, development, or social impact sector.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about using communications to drive social change.
