Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within the nonprofit, international development, or social impact sector.
- Demonstrated experience in development communications, advocacy campaigns, or strategic communications for NGOs or donor-funded programmes.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of digital communications, social media management, and content strategy.
- Experience producing communication materials including reports, newsletters, press releases, case studies, and multimedia content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or similar content management and design tools is an added advantage.
- Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
